The Associated Factory Team arrived at Yatabe Arena in 1995 for the IFMAR 1:10 Offroad World Championship equipped with an all new 2wd buggy, set to replace the aging aluminum tub RC10. The buggy they brought was an all new design, featuring longer suspension arms and a lightweight composite monocoque chassis.

The new RC10 B2 was nearly ready for production, the only exception being the transmission. All twenty-six prototype cars that the Associated Team competed with at the '95 worlds contained the older Stealth 2.25:1 gearbox rather than the 2.40:1 transmission that would eventually be put into the production kits.

Designed to replicate the prototypes as accurately as possible, this conversion kit allows you to install a 2.25:1 Stealth transmission into any B2 or B3 chassis using closely replicated prototype parts. The included bottom plate eliminates the square cutout that is present on 2.40:1 equipped cars. It's made from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized black just like the original, and features an etched logo placed discretely under the motor to differentiate it from an original prototype part. The top brace is made of sturdy PA12 Nylon. All necessary black oxide coated steel hardware is included.

Make no mistake, this is not a drop in replacement, and the Basic Kit will require that you source and modify a Stealth transmission and motor plate. Instructions on how to make these modifications are included. Also available is the Full Kit that includes a pre-modified transmission case (black) and motor plate.
